Installing and Start-up of the Power & Control Panel for the Syrup Room Equipment
in Pepsi Portsaeed Factory.
Overview
The Panel is designed to fully operate the syrup room equipment.
The system is composed of Two Dissolved Sugar Tanks each tank is equipped with an agitator and a Screw to fill the tanks
with sugar, a heat exchanger with a steam valve to heat up the tanks to the desired temperature, Circulation Pump.
Ten Syrup Tanks each tank is equipped with an agitator, Two Pumps to feed the filling machine with syrup.
The Pumps are operating through Siemens VFD’s.
The Screws are operating through Soft Starters.
The Agitator are operating through DOL Starters.
All the Power components from Siemens & Schneider Brands.
The Station can be operated Manually through each equipment start/stop push buttons on the panel door and each pump is
equipped with a dry run protection to forcibly stop the pumps.
